thinking of avards family and my mind travels back to the jamborees he played on when graham matthews had them on local tv and the leather hat avard always had on then and him always sitting on a stool playing---keep his memories close and he will never be far away

I have many great memories with Avard, but the ones that feel had the most meaning were the times he spent with us as children, swimming at the quarry, going flounder fishing, picking dulce and clams on the beach in Bramber, summer vacation stays and seeing Avard playing at the Jamboree and playing his guitar under the tree in the backyard. But the best was when Avard, My Dad and Sandy packed up all the kids and headed to the camp for a weekend, it was always the great adventure to see how many times the tractor and trailer were gonna get stuck on the journey back in the woods... Just a few but so many special times with a special Great Uncle who we loved so much. ❤️
