White, Trudith “Trudy” June – 71 of North River, Mom left us on July 31st, 2023, in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, when she made the decision to continue her journey with Dad. Born in Noel Road on February 5th, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Pauline (Harvey) Anthony.
After being diagnosed with cancer on May 25th, 2023, Mom made up her mind that she didn’t want to endure the discomfort from treatments. She made her loved ones aware of her decision and lived out what time she had left trying her best to enjoy it.
Mom was a strong, brave woman, our friend, supporter and protector. She liked to call the shots, which she did until her final day with us.
“Safe travels Mom, we love you.”
Trudy is survived by daughters; Penny (Ron) Wesley and Paula (Brad) McCallum, both of Truro, granddaughters; Kaitlyn, Natalie and Allison, great-granddaughter; Ahlea, sisters; Rae, Karen and Nellie and sister-in-law Marsha.
Besides her parents, Trudy is predeceased by, husband Roger and brother Eddie.
A Private Family Graveside Committal Service will be held at a later date.
