Laffin Faye Gertrude 88- of MIll Village passed away on November 9,2023, in the Colchester East Hants Health centre, Turo. Born in North Salem on March 31,1935, Faye was the daughter to the late Lloyd and Edith (McCullum) Anthony.

Faye met the love of her life Harris in North Salem and married March 6, 1954, later residing in White Settlement where they raised their family. Faye worked at Ern's meat shop after her children were grown but was always there to assist with grandchildren, great grandchildren and anyone that needed help.

Faye enjoyed quilting, spending time with family and friends and always looked forward to the next party or event.

She was well known as the cute little lady from White Settlement. It was always all the children's goals to be taller than Nan.

Besides her parents, Faye is predeceased by her husband Harris, infant children Wendall & Melvin, Daughter Judy Dobson, Granddaughter Jennifer Dobson, Brothers Carl Anthony and Keith Anthony, Son-in-law James Dobson and Daughter-In-law Lois Parker-Laffin.

Faye is survived by sons Blair, Robert (Joanne), Daughter Doreen (Steve), sister Amy Anthony; Grand children Ernie (Michelle), Nancy, Andrew (Lindsay) Bobby (Jody) April, Amanda; Great Grand Children Christopher, Logan, Maya, Ainslie, Caitlin, Matthew, Tatym, Blake, Brody, Kayleigh and Ryleigh; several nieces and nephews; Special friends Ellen and Brenton White, Darlene and Orlee White and Many friends in Sunny Brook Manor.

As per Faye’s wishes there will be a Graveside Service on Sunday November 19th, 2023, at 1 pm in St. James Presbyterian Church Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life at the little white hall in White Settlement.

Donations in memory of Faye can be made to any youth sports organization of ones’ choosing.
