White, Catherine “Faye” – 72 of Upper Kennetcook; Faye was reunited with her beloved husband Randy on February 12, 2024, after passing in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Kennetcook on March 9, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Vance Miller and Stella (Hennigar) Reader and stepfather Phillip Reader.

Faye was certainly a social butterfly; she loved to talk and would strike up a conversation with just about anyone. She welcomed company; no visit was too long, it brought joy and happiness to her heart. Faye enjoyed dancing and had an ear for music, as she was taking drum lessons for the past year in hopes of playing “Wipeout.”

Faye is survived by children Joanne (Ivan), Vance and Jill; her pride and joy, grandchildren Ryan, Allyson (Devon), Brennan, Natasha and Madison; sisters Phyllis, Bonnie, Cissy (Dave); brother Bert (Louise); sisters-in-law Janice (Wib) and Bonnie (Brent); beloved fur-baby Lucky; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Faye is predeceased by husband Randy.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 6 to 8pm. A Service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 3pm, both in the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Kennetcook, Rev. Mike Poworoznyk officiating. A burial will take place in the St. Peters Anglican Church Cemetery, Upper Kennetcook. Reception will follow in the Kennetcook Fire Hall.
