Vickey Lunn Obituary

Vickey Lunn-77, Stanley passed away on May 19, 2024, in the Qell Halifax, after a long struggle with a broken hip. Born Jan. 16, 1947, in Porte Hanson, NFLD. To the late James and Tassie Maude (Roswell) Hustins, one of 12 children. Vickey was a beautiful soul who showered kindness and friendship everywhere she went. If you ever met her, you were a friend for life. She had a lot of hardships in life, but she never let it keep her down.


She is survived by her son Dennis Wells, Stanley, daughter Bonnie, Ontario and daughter in law Donna Wood, Stanley, five grandchildren and several great grandchildren, sisters Madeline and Sheila, brothers Cameron, Neil, Eugene and Jerome. Also, her furry friends Ezra, Bubba and Rose.


Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Leroy Lunn (2023), son George and sisters Edna, Linda, Lulu, Charlotte and Josephine.


Cremation has taken place and a graveside service for both Leroy and Vickey will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Scotch Village Community Cemetery, Rev. Mike Poworoznyk officiating Donations to charity of choice.
