Beckman, William James – 88 of Tenecape, passed away on May 27, 2024, in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro on April 5, 1936, Willie was the only child of the late Douglas and Mildred (Wilson) Beckman.

Willie was employed with Chignecto-Central Regional School Board for over 41 years as a bus driver and mechanical lead hand. He also owned and operated a small beef farm.

Willie is survived by his wife of 62 years, Maud (Reynolds) Beckman; son Paul (Tara); grandchildren, Alexa, Ashley, Logan and Kaden; greatgrandchildren, Alayna, Aleeya, Vivianne, Rodney and Aine.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 31, at 2pm in the Tenecape Cemetery, Rev. Gary MacDougall officiating, followed by a Reception in the Tenecape Hall – 1933 Hwy 215, Tenecape NS.
