Reta Brown Obituary

Brown, Reta May - 78 of Bramber passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. She was born on February 17, 1946, to the late Gilbert and Bertha (Lake) Mclellan.

Reta loved her cat Cuddles. She loved feeding and watching the birds. She played radio bingo every Monday evening and she enjoyed cooking and baking. She made the best bread and at Christmas time she made so many sweets for our Christmas Eve dinner. Her and Dad made doughnuts every year and we all couldn't wait to get some.

Reta is survived by her daughter Wanda (Greg); son Danny (Suzanne); grandchildren Stephanie (Jamie), Christopher, and Shawn; great grandchildren Jayden and Mason.

Besides her parents Reta is predeceased by her husband Randy, granddaughter Megan, brother Norman, and sister Eleanor (Laurie).

Cremation has taken place with no visitation or service by her request.

A very special thank you to Suzanne for always being there for Mom and Dad. I don’t know what we would have done without you.

Special thanks to first responders Chris and Pam Spencer for their compassionate care and to the staff at the Hants Community Hospital on both unit 200 and 500 for the excellent care they provided.

We would also like to thank all of mom's friends for helping her in anyway possible when she called in a panic. We appreciate you all.

Donations in memory of Reta can be made to the Bramber Cemetery.
