Obituary of Jeff Singer

Singer, Norman Jeffrey “Jeff” - 56 of Kennetcook, passed away July 6, 2024, at the Victoria General Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Windsor NS on July 16, 1967, he was the son of Gail (White) Singer and the late Norman Singer. Jeff attended Hants North Rural High School and has had many occupations in his time including siding, silo building, woods work, construction, and the latest, doing carpentry with Country Boys Carpentry along side his brother Duane and long-time friend, Steve Reinhart. Jeff enjoyed many other activities such as playing darts, washers, hunting, fishing and playing baseball. He had a love for watching his favourite hockey team, the Montreal Canadians during the winter. In the summer, Jeff enjoyed spending time at the Parkville campground with his fiancé and friends and watching NASCAR on Sundays; but no matter the season or reason, there was always an ice cold Olands in his hand at all times. Jeff is survived by Fiancé Kendra White; daughter Samantha (Nick Crosby); grandchildren Jaylah and Cheyston; stepchildren Alayna “Layner” White (Ben Barkhouse), Nolan Macaskill; brother Duane Singer (Brenda Singer) Besides his father, Jeff is predeceased by children David & CJ Singer; Grandmother Betty White (Harold Marr). The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses & staff at the VG hospital for their exceptional care during Jeff’s stay. A Graveside Committal Service will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 2pm in the St. James Presbyterian Church Cemetery, White Settlement Rd. Rev. Mike Poworoznyk officiating.
