Ettinger, Lois Ann-72, of Five Mile River, passed away on July 7, 2024, in the Myra Nursing Home, Truro. Born in Upper Kennetcook on July 17, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Vince and Mildred (Turple) Ettinger and stepfather Dowe O’Toole.
Lois took a two-year course in pre–School Teaching and welcomed her class to her home to study and socialize. She eventually retired from “Making Friends Pre-School”.
Darrien and Lois both enjoyed visiting their parents in the country.
Lois is survived by her common Law spouse of 27 years Darren Crossley, daughter Kendelle Blois, son Ryan Blois, brothers Leslie and Ellis O’Toole, sisters Carol Tufts, Lori Smith, Crystal and 9 grandchildren
Lois is predeceased by sister Donna O’Toole
Cremation has taken place and there will be a graveside committal service in St. Peters Anglican Church Cemetery, Upper Kennetcook on Friday July 12, 2024, at 2 pm. Rev. Glenn Eason officiating.
