Charlie Faulkner Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Dad, Charlie Faulkner, at the age of 88.


Charles William Pierre Faulkner-88, of Burntcoat, passed away on July 25, 2024, at home. Born in Burntcoat on April 8, 1936, he was a son of the late Letson and Edith (LaPierre) Faulkner.


Dad was a plumber by trade, working for several contractors in the valley, then with Western Plumbing and Heating for more than 30 Years. He could turn his hand to almost any trade.


In retirement he kept busy doing woodworking which he donated many pieces to different charities.


He was a member of the UA local 56 of Dartmouth.


Charlie is survived by his daughters Teena (Dana), Burntcoat, Krista (Ken, Noel Shore and Susie (Ron), Noel; grandchildren Amy, Nathan and Kaitlyn; greatgrandchildren Piper, Lyla and Caleb; brother David, P.E.I. He had many other relatives across the province and around Grand Desert and West Chezzetcook which was his mother’s childhood home.


Besides his parents he is predeceased by wife Kathleen and daughter Dorothy.


Cremation has taken place with no visitation by his request. A graveside committal service will be held Saturday August 3, 2024, at 11 am in the Moosebrook Cemetery, Moosebrook. Rev. Mike Poworoznyk officiating,
