Green (Anthony), Melba “Rae” – 81 of North River Road NS, passed away on August 15, 2024, surrounded by loving family and wonderful staff, who called her “Momma Rae”, at The Mira Nursing Home, Truro NS. Born on April 15, 1943, in North River Road NS, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Pauline (Harvie) Anthony.

Rae is survived by loving husband of 62 years, Thomas; loving son, Kenneth (Betty); granddaughters Kim (Rob) Deschamps, Melanda, Kristy (Mike) Lake; greatgrandchildren Josh (Mary Sarah), Jordan (Ethan), William, Claire, Lucas, Maxx; great-great-granddaughter Harper; sisters Karen (Brian), Nellie and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Rae is predeceased by brothers Edmond, Ellis; sister Trudy; brother-in-law Roger; in-laws William and Louise.

Cremation has taken place, there will be a private family burial held at a later date.
