McCulloch, Floyd Alvin- 69 of Great Village, formerly of East Noel, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on September 20, 2024, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Kennetcook on December 17, 1954, Floyd was the son of the late Orin and Nettie (White) McCulloch.

Floyd is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jocelyn; daughter, Stacey (Chris White) Kennetcook; son Jason (Michele), Beaverbank; Grandchildren, Kiptyn White and Alyx McCulloch; brothers, Perry (Theresa), Angus (Deb Lutes), Glendon (Yvonne Dickson); sisters, Janice Harvie, Treva (Donnie) Huntely, Leila Beckman; sister in-law Donna McCulloch, along with many nieces and nephews.

Floyd is predeceased by brothers, Gil, Wendell and John (Jock), as well as sister-in-law Florence McCulloch; brothers in-law Garnet Beckman and Garth Harvie.

Floyd enjoyed hunting, fishing, music and spending time with his children. His grandchildren were the apples of his eye. Floyd loved watching Kiptyn, A.K.A “little guy”) play baseball, and hockey; also watching Alyx (A.K.A “Sweet pea”) skate, they loved their games of crib together and in later years, with his loving wife, Jocelyn, and sister Janice. Floyd loved taking road trips; but his greatest love was always his family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you, to the nurses and staff at the RCU in Pictou, as well as Dr. Sutton and the staff of the Palliative Care unit at the Aberdeen Hospital, for their care and compassion, we will be forever thankful.

Cremation has taken place, visitation will be held in the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Kennetcook, Monday, September 23, 2024, from 6 to 8pm; there will be a graveside Committal Service on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024, at 2pm in Noel Cemetery, Noel, Rev. Mike Poworoznyk officiating.
