Slauenwhite, Pauline Marjorie-84, Lower Burlington, passed away on Sept. 21, 2024, at the Abbie Lane Memorial Hospital, Halifax. Born in Walton on April 19, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Marjorie (Ettinger) Gould. Pauline and her husband Frederick “Buddy” would have been celebrating 60 years of being happily married in early October. Pauline worked for Bell Aliant enjoying 25 years there. She was a loyal member of the Summerville and District Volunteer Fire Dept. For many years Pauline loved gardening and listening to country music. Pauline is survived by her husband Buddy, brothers Wilson, David, Alfred, sisters Mildred “Millie” Cullum, Edith and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she is predeceased by sisters Reta, Ruby, Margaret, brothers Cliff, Ray, Harry, Kenny and Leslie Cremation has taken place, a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 2 to 4pm in the Summerville Fire Hall; 59 Summerville Wharf Rd. Summerville. A private family graveside service will be held in the Loyal Hill Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of the J.
