Obituary of Alice Gertrude Snair

Snair, Alice Gertrude - 68, Kennetcook, passed away at home on December 23, 2024. Born in Halifax on August 26, 1956, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Christian) McMeechan. Alice enjoyed working at the high school in Kennetcook. She loved having a good time wherever she went, but visits from her family - especially her grandchildren - were the most important. Alice is survived by her husband of 45 years, Allen; sons, Andrew (Kate) and Alex; grandchildren Jaxon, Jemma, Jeri, and Maverick; and sisters Catherine (Andrew) Comeau and Norma Collier. She was predeceased by a grandson in infancy, Francis; and sister Mary. Cremation has taken place, and to honour Alice's wishes, there will be no visitation or memorial service; a private graveside service will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to the Kid Action program c/o Melissa White, Kennetcook.
