Norma Blanche Burgess:88, Walton, passed away peacefully at her home on December 7, 2013. Born in England, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Olive (Horscroft) Goff. Mom loved her family and was a real home person. She enjoyed feeding her birds, any stray animals that may wonder in her yard, working in her flower garden and baking bread, which she shared with the neighbours. We will all miss her very much. Norma is survived by her sons Peter, Steven (Gloria), daughter Lorna (Ronnie) Burbidge, grandchildren Jeff (Alana), Jennifer (Marty), Adam (Amanda), Amy (Alex) and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Ted on Feb. 7, 2013. Funeral will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 215, Summerville, Pastor Debby Mosher officating with a private family burial in the Grace United Church Cemetery, Walton. A reception to follow at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lorna Burbidge, 9 Shore Rd. Walton. Donations can be made to the Grace United Church Cemetery.
