Andersen, Edith Marguerite (Brison) 96, Haliburton Place, formerly of Cheverie, passed away peacefully in Haliburton Place, Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, on January 8, 2014. Born in Cheverie on February 20, 1917 she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret (Weatherbee) Brison. Mum was a survivor in life and gave generously of herself to many. She worked for many years in her father and brothers businesses. She is survived by her daughter Margaret "Margie" (Harold) Smith, granddaughter Suzanne, grandson Darin, great grandchildren Krystina, Justin and Victoria Annie and great great grandson Landon, sisters Jean, Elsie, Maudie, brothers Clifford and Wesley and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Lars 'Owen' Andersen, sisters Lucy, Beatrice, brothers George and Laurence. Visitation Saturday January 11, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. in the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 215, Summerville, Hants Co., and funeral Sunday at 2 p.m. January 12 in the Cheverie United Church, Cheverie. Rev. Jeff Bursey officating assisted by Lois Brison-Brown with a private family burial in the Cheverie United Church Cemetery.
