McDonough - Kathleen Marguerite, 87, of Belmont, Hants Co., N.S., passed away on May 8, 2014 in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Summerside, P.E.I. on March 19, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Alice (Grady) Barwise. Kathleen loved gardening, hooking rugs, and she was an animal lover; her dogs and cats meant the world to her. She is survived by her brothers Alfred (Sumie), Ralph (Shirley), Wally (Joan), and Gerald (Carol); and by sister-in-law Marion (Dexter) Lynds. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband William "Bill" and sisters Marjorie and Lillian. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 2:00pm at the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Summerville, Pastor Betty Parker officiating with a private family interment to be held at a later date. Family flowers only.
