DALRYMPLE – Albert Wilson, age 70, of Lower Selma, passed away on April 6, 2018 at the QEII VG Site, Halifax. Born on September 2, 1947, he was a son of the late Robert and Olive (Gill) Dalrymple. Albert worked as a garbage collector before his retirement. He enjoyed making tapes and CDs, and loved going to jamborees and country suppers. Albert is survived by his lifetime partner, Nellie Patterson; sisters, Mary (Ed), Leona, and Alice; and will be sadly missed by his brother Robert, and dear friend James Crosman. Besides his parents, Albert was predeceased by his brother Robie and brother-in-law Raymond Laffin. Cremation has taken place with no visitation or service by request. Thank you to Dr. Barb O’Neil and staff at the Kennetcook Medical Office, Dr. Frank Slipp of Truro, and Rev. Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford for her hospital visits. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of Floor 6A for the care and kindness given to Albert, and to friends and neighbours for their assistance, phone calls, and cards.
