Sending condolences and hugs to Marlene & families & all who knew him loved him. I met Mr.Jim Frame at Beautiful Kempt Shore,NS about 15yrs ago. Jim was one of the first people who said hello to me and welcomed me into the Big Beige crowd!!
We became buds over sharing a few Bud Lights during many a festival over the years & when he invited me to meet his Beautiful wife Marlene and friends for a meal at their Glorious property I was delighted and felt the buds bond grow more as I got to know & love so many that I met under Big Beige. I loved listening to his stories about his military career & wondering how much was true haha and the laughing so much laughter every time I was in his presence because “He was the one who told the jokes”. Love ya Frame and thanks for your friendship. It was an honour. Rest In Peace

To Marlene, Daren, Family Members & Friends,
The members of the Canadian Forces Supplementary Radio (SUPRAD) System Oldtimers Association were deeply saddened by the news of Jim's passing. For the past few days, 24-26 June, SUPRAD Oldtimers have been gathered at CFS Leitrim for their Annual Reunion. You can well imagine that there have been lots of memorable stories told about our good friend, Jim Frame. Today, we will be gathering at the site our our old school at HMCS Gloucester for a Service of Remembrance. Jim's name will be read during the service. A brunch will follow the service where I am sure we are going to hear many, many, many more stories that will make us laugh. Like it reads in Jim's obituary, he was gregarious, kind, trouble-making, devilish and 'all in' when it came to having a good party. I will never forget the one big New Years Day party that was celebrated in Bermuda when we were neighbours. We will forever cherish all of the shenanigans, jokes and laughter that were shared during our years of friendship. Please know that you will be kept in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Rest in Peace Jim.
'Friends Forever'

I met Jim in HMCS Gloucester in 1966 while we were on our One's course - we both ended
up in Inuvik and later to Bermuda, Kingston - we lost track for a couple of years until I had
my first Kemptshore Music Festival experience - I will always be grateful to him for introducing
me to the "downeast music" we had a great time - my deepest condolences to Jim's family
and friends. He will be missed.

So I met this man one year after my husband passed! My husband Ernest Leedham served with Jim Frame many years ago! When we connected through Jane and Bill Campbell and Jane’s brother Butch Sullivan…..it was like I had known him forever! I am so very happy to have met him and enjoyed his one liners, his crocs…OMG and his tie dyes but most of all his kindness and his beautiful smile with those blue eyes!!! You were a LEGEND in your time Jim you’ll never know how much you were loved!!! FLY HIGH CHIEF…CHEERS TO YOU AND ERNIE HAVING A DRINK!!! RIP ❤️❤️

To live in this world
you must be able
to do three things:
to love what is mortal;
to hold it
against your bones knowing
your own life depends on it;
and, when the time comes to let it go,
to let it go.
