Obituary of Charles "Charlie" Langille

Langille, Charles “Charlie” Fader- Age 76 Passed away peacefully on January 22, 2023. Born in St. Margaret’s Bay on July 9th, 1946, he was the son of the late Vincent and Joan (Fader) Langille. Lovingly known as Grampy and Papa Charlie, he was an avid outdoorsman who was known for his love of animals, raising many throughout the years. He especially loved his goats and pigs who would follow him everywhere. Charlie loved gardening and always took great pride and care of his land, planting fruit trees along with many beautiful gardens and a large pond. If he wasn’t outside, Charlie could be found watching his favourite wrestling shows or playing cards at the kitchen table with friends and family. Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Lorraine, his sons, Adam Langille, Dale Power (Crystal) and Marcus Power, along with 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and his sister, Jessie Mason (Paul). Besides his parents, Charlie is predeceased by his daughter, Rosalind Drummond. A service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 28th, 2023, Pastor Charlene Reid officiating, followed by a reception, both in the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Summerville. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please donate in memory, to the Kidney Foundation.
